Douala, Cameroon is hosting the Central Africa Internet Governance Forum from May 29th to 31st 2012.
To ensure the success of this important event, the Organising Committee is calling for papers on specific topics (see attached document [french]).

Be a country within the West Africa Region The Government/ government agency be the focal point. Have a National IGF Process in place Have at least 3 national partners(list their names and contacts) List what the host country ,will offer to ensure a successful Forum

The Sixth Annual IGF Meeting will be held in Nairobi, Kenya on 27-30 September 2011 at the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON).
The proposed main theme of the meeting is: ’Internet as a catalyst for change: access, development, freedoms and innovation’.

In an extraordinary meeting on 6 December, 2010, the United Nations Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) decided to create a Working Group on Improvements to the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) with a membership made up only of governments.

The IGF multistakeholder advisory group (MAG) meeting took place on 23 November 2010 in Geneva and a summary meeting report prepared by the MAG and the IGF secretariat is available on the IGF website at:
