The third edition of the West African Internet Governance Forum took place from 23 to 25 August at the Hotel Sofitel Teranga of Dakar. Internet Society, Senegal Chapter (ISOC.SN) was the organiser with the full support from the Minister of Information Communication and Technology. The regional forum was the culmination of online discussions that have been taking place in various West African countries like Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Togo, Cote d’Ivoire and Sierra Leone.
